Pasture-based boarding on 42 rolling acres — open fields, woods, a shady stream and a historic bank barn.
Harley Farm offers pasture-based boarding in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our horses live in spacious rolling pastures with access to fresh grass, shade, and shelter. Just grazing on the hills helps keep them fit and happy. New horses are introduced gradually, and inter-horse competition is minimal.
We have two rings with good footing, one covered and one outside. The tack room contains a refrigerator and microwave, there is a picnic area with a well-stocked fire pit, and a restroom with shower is located near the outdoor ring. Just past our front gate are miles of opportunities for trail riding along field margins and quiet country roads, including ones with easy access to Catoctin Creek. A section of our upper pasture contains jumps and barrels.
At Harley Farm we do not have set hours of operation and value maintaining a quiet, low-key atmosphere. Our boarders and farm helpers enjoy being part of a small, friendly community where they can relax and enjoy nature.
Harley Farm offers a simple, natural setting for people who want their horses to have space, companionship, and attentive care.

"I love boarding my horse here. The environment is very peaceful, and I know my horse has never been happier. Elaine and the Harley Farm team do a great job making sure all of the animals are well cared for. I also love knowing that someone is always nearby to keep an eye on things. The farm is safe and beautiful, with great opportunities to ride out."
